It is reflected in Article 386 of the newly prepared Code of Administrative Offences, the parliament told APA.
According to the article, for a violation of the law on television and radio broadcasting and the law on mass media over sponsorship for mass media outlets as well as preparation of teleradio programs, individuals will be fined AZN 1,000 to 1,500, officials AZN 2,500 to 3,500, and legal entities AZN 8,000 to 10,000.
According to the Code, the penalties will be AZN 30 to 50.
The new Code of Administrative Offences presented by the Azerbaijani president has been recommended to the plenary session of the parliament and will be tabled on December 29. The Code, if approved, will enter into force on May 1.
