Azerbaijani TV channels to be monitored

â€œThe protection of the Azerbaijani literary language is one of the most serious issues. News presenters observe these norms to some extent. We are more concerned over the presenters of the show programs. Unfortunately, their level is very low, they almost do not observe the norms of the literary language. Chiefs of TV channels do not pay attention to the diction of the presenters of show programs. This issue must always be under serious control. We are going to conduct monitoring together with the relevant bodies,â€ he said.

Maharramli said the appeal to the president for giving extra authorities to the Council has not been answered yet.
â€œThere are some issues that require absolute regulation. Various layers of the society, as well as the parliamentarians often propose to give certain authorities to the regulating body,â€ he said.
