Ways from genocide to genocide

There were four in the family. They were going to have supper. Suddenly the voices began to come from outside: â€œArmenians are coming, they are firingâ€. Her parents took her and her 5-year old sister Yeganaâ€™s hand and run to the yard.

It was evening of February 25 and was very cold. The snow falling for many days was intensifying. Everybody was running. The road to Aghdam, which was closest to the settlement, was crossing from the forest. They were under fire. The wounded were falling, but survivors were running to the side of firing, because there was no other way. Suddenly heard scream of her mother Rena who took her hand, the bullet nicked her head, she fell to the land, her sister and father came to her mother. One more bullet, one moreâ€¦ Her sister fell to the ground without screaming. Her blood painted the white snow to the red color. Khazangul was quaking with fright and crying, her father left her dead mother and sister and took her hand, they began to run, but persons in the military uniform stopped the way and threw them to truck body at a stroke.

There were other capture people, children, women, old persons and wounded in the truck. She saw that her fatherâ€™s hand was bleeding. They carried them to the unknown place. They fastened all men to the trees: â€œA soldier coming closer to her 38-year-old father Tavakkul cried: â€œSay that Karabakh is an Armenian landâ€. Her father didnâ€™t say anything, they beat him, pressed his wound and kicked himâ€¦

Khazangul was at the age of 8. She was crying â€œfather, fatherâ€.

Armenians became furious when Tavakkul kept silence. They poured gasoline on his father and got matchâ€¦ Khazangul saw this horrible incident at age of 8, 20 years have passed, but she still smells her fatherâ€™s burning body and hears his screams.

It is not a part of novel or movie. It is real tragedy of a family annihilated in Khojaly 20 years ago. On February 25-26, 1992 Armenian terrorists fired on 2500 residents including women, old people and children, killed 613 citizens. 1500 injured residents were left in the forest, many of them were frozen and were taken captive. Fate of the some people is still unknown. Armenian terrorist demolished the settlement in an hour.

Now the worldâ€™s parliaments make so-called â€œgenocideâ€ decisions on the events of 1915 without investigating the history and archives, but those, who know conscience, pride and objectivity, first must ask us, Azerbaijanâ€™s Turks about genocide, because we saw all horrors and pains of genocide 20 years ago.

We invite the people, who consider genocide as crime against humanity, to the Taksim Square of Istanbul on February 26. We call the people cursing those, who killed even a man anywhere in the world in any period of the history with intent to commit genocide, to cry â€œHamimiz Khojaliliyiqâ€ (We are all from Khojaly) in Taksim on February 26.
