Azerbaijani poet-researcher elected vice chairman of Berlin Committee of German Journalists’ Association

Her candidacy was nominated by the presidium of the Union.

Nourida Ateshi addressed the meeting with a detailed report on 16-year activity in media and culture in Germany. Then, our compatriot introduced recently published in four languages, the book “The Caucasian Amazons: true story behind the myths”.

Elected chairman of the committee, known German photojournalist Simon Ahrend and other meeting participants indicated that Nourida Ateshi had lived in different countries, Her experience and knowledge in the languages, religions, cultures, histories and problems of the press in different countries, in which she lived and conducted research, as well as the presence of a her own healthy position will be a valuable asset to the Board and the Union of journalists, in general.

In turn, Nourida Ateshi expressed her gratitude for the high trust and noted that work on a new path was a big responsibility to the German and international press.

Note that, Berlin Specialized Committee of Equal Opportunities is the preservation of equality not only between the sexes, but all people regardless of their nationality, language, religion, race, the position they hold. The main task of the committee is to facilitate the holding of international congresses, forums and workshops to enhance the level of education and training, expanding and systematizing the exchange of experience in the global media world.

Note that, Nourida Ateshi a member of the German Union of Journalists since 1996. In addition, she is a member P.E.N. the center of Germany and the exclusive representative of the Union of Journalists of Azerbaijan in Germany and Europe.
