Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Euronews channel: â€œEuronews channel will play an important role in acquaintance of Azerbaijan with Europe and Europe with Azerbaijanâ€

Pier Luigi Malesani, Chairman of the Supervisory Board and Michael Peters, Managing Director of the Executive Board of â€œEuronewsâ€ channel visited Icherisheher State Historical-Architectural Reserve and Azerbaijani State Museum of History. Public Affairs and Monitoring Department of the Public Television and Radio Council told APA that the guests were informed about the history and architectural monuments of Icherisheher and significant artifacts in the Azerbaijani State Museum of History as well as were gifted rich materials with information about out countryâ€™s culture and history and museumâ€™s publications. Malesani said that Baku was very mysterious city and shared his opinions about Azerbaijan: â€œI have been here for several times and every time I discover new beauties here for myself. New constructions and rapid development of the infrastructure especially attract my attention. They create pleasant impressions. I think that â€œEuronewsâ€ channel will play an important role in the strengthening of Azerbaijan-EU cooperation, as well as acquaintance of Azerbaijan with Europe and Europe with Azerbaijanâ€.

Michael Peters, who said that he visited Azerbaijan for the first time, noted that Baku created pleasant impressions in him: â€œIn my opinion, Baku can be considered the heart of the Central Asia. It is the point where Asia and Europe unite. Maybe thatâ€™s why I make myself comfortable hereâ€.
