APA and Kerkuk News Agency sign agreement on cooperation

APA reports that the agreement was signed by Director General of APA-Group Vusala Mahirgizi and Director General of KHA and Turkmeneli Television Ersan Sarikahya.

The agreement envisages cooperation between the agencies in the exchange of information, experience, implementation of joint projects.

KHA was established in 2005. The agency is available in the Turkish and Arabic languages. The news articles in English will be available soon. KHA has correspondents in Iraq and Turkey (Ankara).

APA information agency (www.apa.az) was founded on November 16, 2004. The agency issues newsletters every day in Azerbaijani, Russian, English, French and Arabic in addition to its online system. The information blocks cover news articles about the political, economic, social, cultural and sport life of Azerbaijan, developments in the region and in the world. The Agency issues general, economic, photo and video editions every day, economic and political analyses twice a month. APA cooperates with the leading mass media of Turkey, Middle East, Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, republics of Central Asia, Baltic states, European countries and US.
APAâ€™s subscribers and customers include embassies, consulates, diplomatic missions, international representatives, government agencies, ministries, financial institutions, representatives of international financial institutions in Azerbaijan as well as foreign companies, local and foreign business structures. More than 150 media organizations in Azerbaijan are subscribers of APA. Most non-governmental organizations, Azerbaijani Diaspora organizations are also among the permanent subscribers. The agency has offices in all the regions of Azerbaijan, Turkey, Russia, France, Georgia, Central Asia and USA.

The agency has been accredited at the Council of Europe, Department of State, Russian Foreign Ministry. APA is cooperating with a number of analytical centers, including Stratfor Global Intelligence Company.
