Baku. Parvin Abbasov – APA. “Though the Turkic-speaking countries strongly cooperate in the other spheres, they are late in the cooperation in media sphere”, Head of Public Policy Department of the Presidential Administration (PA) of Azerbaijan Ali Hasanov said in his report “Azerbaijan’s state policy and media: the main priorities in the cooperation with Turkic-Speaking countries and communities” at the 2nd Media Forum of Turkic-Speaking Countries and Communities held in Baku, APA reports. Hasanov said that Azerbaijan faced the occupation of its lands from the first years of its independence and couldn’t deliver this problem to the world properly.

PA Department Chief underlined the necessity of establishment of joint system of Turkic-speaking countries: “The world’s information policy is united in the hand of known circle. Each of us is a representative of one religion, one family, one region, carrier of one culture. But see, how do they disgrace Islam in the world? They equate Islam with terror. We must defend our Muslim and Turkic values”.
