Spokespersons of Azerbaijani government organizations end their visit to London

Baku. Habil Suleymanzadeh – APA. Spokespersons of the government organizations of Azerbaijan ended their visit to Azerbaijan. The visit was organized by the British Embassy and the OSCE Office in Azerbaijan, said the British Embassy in Azerbaijan, APA reports. Eleven senior government spokespersons from Azerbaijan’s Presidential Administration, Parliament, Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Interior, Justice, Culture and Tourism, Health and Economic Development, the Prosecutor’s Office, State Committee on Work with Religious Organizations and the Supreme Assembly of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic visited London from 18-21 July 2011 with the support of the British Embassy and the OSCE Baku Office to discuss best practices in government-media relations and freedom of information practices with their British counterparts. During the visit, the spokespersons held meetings with representatives of British Foreign Ministry (FCO), Justice and Health Ministries, UKTI, Guardian newspaper, the BBC WS, media support NGOs, including Azerbaijani Ambassador in London. The delegation also had a historical tour of the Parliament building.
