Information systems of governmental bodies are migrated to the Data Center of AzInTelecom LLC, operating under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan (MDDTRA), APA-Economics reports citing Press Service of Ministry of Digital Development and Transport.
The Ministry of Defense Industry of Azerbaijan migrated IT structures and systems to the Data Center of AzInTelecom LLC before. Currently, agreement on extending the contract and expanding the volume of service in order to keep using cloud services is achieved between parties. Meetings for discussing related issues are held.
The Ministry of Defense Industry uses the services cloud infrastructure IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) and permanent reservation of data BaaS (Backup as a Service) in the framework of the Migration to the Government cloud project.
Automatically reserving virtual infrastructure in the Data Center and storing data in different locations using encryption tools provides the security which is necessary for the infrastructure of the cloud. The government agency is also provided with the “Veeam” platform for conducting reservation service flexibly and simply.
