Azercosmos which Operates under the under the Ministry of Transport and High Technologies of Azerbaijan and the SUPARCO, the Space & Upper Atmosphere Research Commission of Pakistan signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), APA-Economics reports citing the Ministry.
Memorandum aims the cooperation on different field of the space. The MoU involves the joint action on space science, technology and applications, capacity building, as well as the exchange of experience.
The Chairman of the Board of Azerbaijan Space Agency Samaddin Asadov stressed that the
memorandum is of the significance in terms of improving space-oriented services between Azerbaijan and Pakistan, further expanding the space program, and development of the spatial data.
Head of the SUPARCO Amer Nadem highlighted that this memorandum will provide ample opportunities to the joint operation for the thriving futures of both countries.
