Baku. Fuad Jafarov – APA. One more person was rescued from the rubble left after the explosion in the residential building in Khirdalan.
APA’s correspondent reports from the site that the rescuers saved 9-year old Aykhan and handed over to emergency doctors.
According to initial estimate, a gas leak caused the explosion.
APA reports that Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations, Etibar Mirzayev has arrived at the scene to control the rescue works.

Baku. Hafiz Heydarov, Fuad Jafarov – APA. 4 more persons were rescued from the rubble left after the explosion in the residential building in Khirdalan.
Absheron District Police Office told APA that they are Ismayilova Metanet Elbrus, born in 1972, Ismayilov Bekir Vidadi, born in 2007, Ismayilova Aygul Vidadi, born in 1999 and Abdullayeva Aytaj Gulbala, born in 2010.
APA’s correspondent reports from the site that First Deputy Prosecutor General Rustam Usubov, head of Absheron district executive power Zakir Farajov, chief of police and prosecutor of the district also arrived at the scene.

Baku. Hafiz Heydarov – APA. Two of persons removed from the rubble of the explosion that occurred in the residential building in Khirdalan have been named. Absheron District Police Office told APA that they are Ismayil Vidadi Yunis, born in1972, and his son Ismayil Yunis Vidadi, born in 2001.
Both of them were hospitalized with burn injuries.

Baku. Javid Zeynalli – APA. The Ministry of Emergency Situations has issued a statement on the powerful explosion that occurred in one of the flats of a five-storey building resided by IDPs in the 26th block, Khirdalan city.
APA reports quoting the Ministry’s website that relevant rescue forces have been deployed on the scene.
The Ministry said that 3 persons were rescued and they are working to save two other persons.

Baku. Hafiz Heydarov- APA. An explosion occurred in a building in Azerbaijan.
According to witnesses the incident was recorded in the 26th block, Khirdalan city. The explosion occurred in an apartment of a five-storey building where internally displaced persons settled in. Consequently, three storeys of the building collapsed and some people were trapped under the rubble of the collapsed building.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations told APA that rescuers were involved in the scene. One of the persons trapped under the rubble was rescued. Measures are being taken to save other people.
