Referring to the upcoming parliamentary elections which are an event of national importance, the minister said that the internal affairs bodies have extensive experience in this regard and assume important duties arising from the law in ensuring and protecting public order and safety. Usubov expressed confidence that each employee will cope with all tasks decently like in the similar events in the previous years.
The minister added that the main duty of interior affairs bodies is the country’s strengthening and prosperity, and the protection and strengthening of socio-political stability, which is of the bases of state policy on bettering the population’s social welfare pursued successfully by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
“Those seeking to destabilize the situation in the country and create chaos and anarchy will be prevented in the sternest and most decisive way in accordance with the law,” he noted.
