In a statement to APA, however, spokesperson for the prosecutor general’s office Eldar Sultanov rejected these reports.
“We state that in a series of urgent investigative and search operations those suspected of having committed the crime have been identified and brought to [criminal] responsibility in a short period of time and other necessary investigative actions have been completed. Numerous expert reports as well as forensic reports were submitted to investigators on October 20. The convicts are still being questioned about the expert reports. The investigation will be concluded soon and the victim’s legal heir will be able to look through the expert reports and other materials related to the criminal case,” he said.
