Politician Zafar Guliyev gives testimony at General Procurator

Zafar Guliyev has said he was today questioned by investigator of Grave Crimes Investigation Department under the Prosecutor General’s Office Sanan Pashayev about Rauf Mirgadirov: “I was asked about his activities, and whether I had any contact with him or not. The questioning took two hours.

Mirgadirov was detained on April 19 in Turkey, and handed over to Azerbaijan. The court has sentenced him to the pre-trial detention.

He is charged with the Criminal Code’s Article # 274 (state betray).
