According to the Judicial Legal Council’s website, during a hearing at the Judicial-Legal Council on March 18, disciplinary proceedings were initiated against 10 judges for creating grounds for corruption by curbing the execution of citizens’ rights, procrastination, etc., APA reports.
During another hearing at the Judicial Legal Council on March 15, the court passed a decision on the dismissal of chairman of the Goranboy District Court Vidadi Nasirov and judges of the Ganja Administrative-Economic Court Javad Ibrahimov and Rafig Mammadov for creating grounds for corruption by curbing the execution of citizens’ rights, procrastination, etc. Judge of the Ganja Military Court Vaqif Gadirov’s authorities were prematurely terminated, and judge of the Sheki District Court Kamran Suleymanov was rebutted.
Compared to 2014, 13 judges had faced administrative proceedings, 2 judges’ authorities had been terminated, and another 5 judges had been fired in the disciplinary order in 2013.
