Zardab Police Office confirmed to APA the fact regarding Jafarov’s detention. It was noted that Jafarov is accused of illegal possession of weapons. A hand grenade was seized from his house.
The Police also said that Jafarov fought in Syria for a long time and came back in February of this year.
Zardab Police Office didn’t inform about Abdullayev’s detention.
According to APA, Abdullayev’s brother Ramiz Abdullayev also took part in the fighting in Syria. He is said to be an active member of the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
It is reported that Abdullayev’s detention is related to his brother.
