The Ombudsman’s Office told APA that the members met with Leyla Yunus, Intigam Aliyev, Rasul Jafarov and Anar Mammadli detained in Baku Investigation Isolator. During the meeting, the condition of detention and treatment with the detainees were examined.
Moreover, Ilgar Mammadov, who is detained in the quarantine room of the Prison #2 was visited and his condition was examined as well. During the meeting it was revealed that Ilgar Mammadov is not ill-treated in the Prison #2.
It was noted that the Ombudsman has appealed to the Ministry of Justice for the issues raised by the detainees to be investigated and measures to be taken under the law.
