Man who committed mass murder in Azerbaijan arrested - <span style="color: red;">UPDATED

The District Police Office told APA that the people who were killed as an armed man attacked a house are 56-year-old Dilezber Ali Mammadova, 31-year-old Fergane Allahyar Mammadova, 63-year-old Ofelya Isa Mammadova, 51-year-old Hevayet Khanlar Mammadova, 30-year-old Sudaba Allahyar Huseynova, 25-year-old Namig Allahyar Mammadov and 3-year-old Isa Elvin Mammadov.

28-year-old Natig Mammadov and 26-year-old Gunel Mammadova were injured.

As a result of the investigation, the murder who committed the crime is the family’s son-in-law Rafig Muzaffar Huseynov and he was arrested.

A criminal case was launched upon the fact and investigation is underway.

Goranboy. Azer Mammadli – APA. Mass murder was committed in Azerbaijan’s Goranboy region. Goranboy District Police Office told APA’s western bureau that a person with a gun attacked a house and killed 7 and injured 2 people.

The incident took place at about 4:00 in this morning. The injured 28-year-old Natig Mammadov and 30-year-old Gunel Mammadova were placed in Ganja Emergency Medical Aid Hospital. The incident is supposed to be caused by family disputes.

Employees of Goranboy District Prosecutor's Office are at the scene. A criminal case was launched upon the fact and investigation is underway.
