APA’s southern bureau reports that the incident was recorded in Ballabur village today at about 15:00.
47-year old Hajiali Vali Aliyev and his 19-year old son Elmaddin Hajiali Aliyev drowned in the lake while washing their sheep and lambs in the lake.
The witnesses say that Elmaddin drowned the first. The man drowned while saving his son.
Their bodies were pulled from the water by the local residents.
The bodies were taken to Lankaran Department of the Health Ministry's Forensic Medical Examination and Pathological Anatomy Unit for internal and external examinations.
Lankaran Region Prosecutor’s Office launched an investigation on the fact.
