Explosion hits Baku café, injuries reported

The explosion occurred as a result of a gas leak out of a 50-liter propane gas cylinder in Nizami District, Baku, at the cafe “Bibimin kafesi”, which occupies a total of 30-square meter area, APA reports citing the website of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The café’s lambirin ceiling 30 square meters, one air conditioner, and items in an area of 3 square meters have burned in the explosion, and the 50-liter propane gas cylinder was removed to a safe place by firefighters.
The caféÉ™s owner and another person working at the café received burn injuries. They were handed over to the Emergency Medical Service. The remaining parts of the café were protected from the fire, which firefighters managed to extinguish at 09:35 AM.
