Defense Ministry Spokesman Vagif Dergahli told APA that under the order of Defense Minister, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, chief of Azerbaijan High Military School named after Heydar Aliyev, Major-General Heydar Piriyev was dismissed and appointed as the chief of Military Academy of Azerbaijani Armed Forces.
Head of the Military Police of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, Colonel Fuzuli Salahov was appointed as the chief of Azerbaijan High Military School.
Dergahli said that Colonel Azad Aghayev is now acting head of the Military Police of the Ministry of Defense.
