Head of the Geneva office of the bureau of the network “Human Rights House” Florian Irminger wrote about this on his Twitter page.

The Head Office of the organization told APA-Economics that Oxfam’s program in Azerbaijan is being investigated: “But no official accusation has been brought against Oxfam. Right now, Oxfam is presenting necessary data on the government’s requirements. However, we possess no accurate information whether or not the Azerbaijani government has any evidence which can prove the law violation accusation to bring against the organization or can justify the interrogation operation”.

According to further details of the information, “Oxfam UK is a member of the International Oxfam Confederation, which is comprised of 17 Oxfams. “Oxfam, an independent and unbiased NGO, is implementing projects in the direction of diminishing poverty and misery in 90 countries of the world. Oxfam UK has been operating in Azerbaijan since 20 years ago in line with its mandate. It wouldn’t be appropriate for us to comment on it further as the governmental bodies’ investigations are going on”.
