Bakhtiyar Hajiyev makes complaint to police about Nurettin Eres

Baku. Hafiz Heydarov – APA. Founder of “Positive Changes” movement Bakhtiyar Hajiyev has made a complaint to police about the Turkish businessman.

Police Department # 9 of Sabail District Police Office told APA that Baku resident Bakhtiyar Ilyas oglu Hajiyev, born in 1982, submitted a complaint application to Police that in August 2013, he had given AZN 30,000 to his acquaintance, Turkish citizen Nurettin Eres, born in 1977, to set up a joint business, but the Turkish businessman defrauded him and didn’t return the money.

An investigation on the received complaint application is underway.

Earlier, Nurettin Eres had appealed to the police that Bakhtiyar Hajiyev was putting pressure upon him. Based on that appeal, Narimanov District Police Office launched a criminal case under article #221 (hooliganism) of the Criminal Code. This year on April 14, Bakhtiyar Hajiyev was called to Narimanov District Police Office over Nurettin Eres’s complaint and interrogated therein.

Bakhtiyar Hajiyev told APA that Turkish citizen Nurettin Eres had borrowed the money from him under the guise of school construction, but didn’t return the money, making various excuses.
