A strong fire has broken out in the open shrubland areas of Fuzuli and Jabrayil districts, prompting an immediate response from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, APA reports.
The Ministry’s Press Service reported that the fire affected several areas, including directions near Jojug Marjanli village in Jabrayil district and Horadiz city, Ahmadalilar settlement, as well as the villages of Gazakhlar and Mirzanaghili in Fuzuli district. Firefighting units from the State Fire Protection Service were promptly dispatched to the scene.
The fire, mainly spreading across shrub-covered open areas, has expanded rapidly due to windy conditions. Additional firefighting brigades have been deployed as the blaze continues to spread and moves closer to the Azerbaijan–Iran state border.
Emergency crews are carrying out urgent operations to contain and extinguish the fire. Further information will be provided as the situation develops.
