In August, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) representatives again visited the Armenian detainees notified by the Azerbaijani authorities, Ilaha Huseynova, Head of the Public Relations Department of the ICRC office in Baku told APA.
The detainees were met in private and were given a possibility to exchange family news.

As per the ICRC’s procedures, the observations and recommendations related to its visits are only shared with the detaining authorities.
Note that Azerbaijan's law enforcement agencies have arrested and brought to Baku the former "presidents" of the Armenian separatists in Garabagh, Arkadi Ghukasyan, Bako Sahakyan, and Arayik Harutyunyan, as well as the former "foreign minister" David Babayan, the former "parliament speaker" David Ishkhanyan, generals Levon Mnatsakanyan and David Manukyan, and the former "state minister" Ruben Vardanyan.
