Azerbaijan’s foreign trade turnover reached USD 49.4 billion in 2025, APA-Economics reports, citing the State Customs Committee.
This is a 3.8% increase compared to 2024.
During this period, exports decreased by 5.7% to USD 25.04 billion, while imports increased by 15.8% to USD 24.4 billion.
This negatively affected the foreign trade balance. As a result, the positive foreign trade surplus fell 8.3 times year-on-year to USD 663 million. In 2024, this figure stood at USD 5.5 billion.
