In accordance with the instructions of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, to provide assistance to the brotherly country in the fight against severe forest fires that occurred in the Republic of Türkiye, the Be-200ChS amphibious aircraft of the aviation unit of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was sent to Türkiye, APA reports.
In addition, the relevant fire and rescue forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations have been put on high alert.
It should be noted that during discussions with the relevant body of the Republic of Türkiye, it was noted that the personnel of the Ministry of Emergency Situations is fully prepared to be sent to the fraternal country to provide assistance, but the Turkish side stated that at the current stage it would be sufficient to send only an airplane.
