The "112" hotline of the Ministry of Emergencies received information about a fire in the territory of the "OilGasScientificResearchProject" Institute's Experimental Research and Testing Facility of SOCAR, located in Baku city, Surakhani district, and the forces of the State Fire Protection and Special Risk Rescue services of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were immediately dispatched to the scene, the press service of MES told APA.
The fire was prevented from spreading to the surrounding areas, including nearby houses, thanks to the necessary and urgent measures taken by the forces of the ministry.
Firefighting measures are currently being continued.
It was noted that 3 emergency medical teams were involved in the call. So far, 1 person has received medical assistance on the spot. Emergency medical teams are on the scene.
