A person identified as F.A., an Azerbaijani citizen born in 1999, has been detained in Tbilisi on charges of robbery, APA’s local bureau reports, citing Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The investigation established that the accused stole a citizen’s handbag in Tbilisi and fled the scene.
The Azerbaijani citizen was apprehended as a suspect shortly after the crime was committed. The stolen handbag was seized as material evidence.
The investigation is ongoing. The committed crime is punishable by up to six years of imprisonment.
