The Food Safety Agency of Azerbaijan (AQTA), together with relevant agencies, has launched an investigation to determine the causes of a recent incident in the Imishli district, AQTA said in response to APA's inquiry.

According to AQTA, the initial probe revealed that the incident occurred during a small wedding ceremony in Muradxanli village. “Specialists from the agency inspected the site and carried out necessary examinations. The investigation is ongoing, and additional information will be provided once the results are available,” the agency stated.

AQTA once again emphasized the importance of proper food handling practices when serving home-prepared meals, stressing the need to observe storage conditions, temperature control, hygiene, and safe transportation rules.
