APA reports that the judge trial, led by Mayil Bayramov, passed the sentence. According to the judgment, Suleymanov was sentenced to 11 years imprisonment.
Suleymanov was arrested as a result of joint investigative and search-operational actions carried out by the National Security Ministry of Azerbaijan and General Prosecutor’s Office. He was suspected in attempts to organize disturbance in the country and violation of public security norms and inciting disobedience among the people.
23,7 g of narcotic drugs (hashish) were found and seized from Suleymanov when he was detained. Besides it, firing weapon and ammunition were also found while the search of his flat.
