Opening ceremony of Russian Language and Russian Education Days celebrated in Azerbaijan

Making the statement in the ceremony the counsellor of Russian Embassy in Azerbaijan Igor Shukov spoke about the importance of the event and highly appreciated all these for developing the relations between two countries.
â€œI believe this event will be important for both countries and for Russians living in Azerbaijan. Russian Language and Russian Education Days in Azerbaijan will continue till December 7 and some master-classes, book and paintings will be exhibited,â€? he said.
The rector of BSU Asif Hajiyev, the professor of State Russian language Institute named after A.S Pushkin Marina Shutova, the teacher of MSU Yevgeni Sherbak and some others made speech in the ceremony.
It should be noted that, in the frame of project, round-tables on â€œRussian language as the means of international intercourseâ€? and â€œRussian language and speech cultureâ€? will be held dedicated to the results of verse and song competition held S.Yeseninâ€™s House Museum in Mardakan settlement, and master-classes will be organized with the participation of Marina Shutova in State Russian language Institute named after A.S. Pushkin. The opening of the exhibition of child paintings is expected to be held on last days of project. /APA/
