Head of the Committee to Defend Sakit’s Rights Emin Huseynov told the APA that a lawyer to Mirza Sakit Vugar Khasayev’s solicitation on re-conducting the investigation and the commissioner of IM department Fighting Drugs Adil Alakbarov’s testimony was not allowed. Huseynov told that he stopped hunger strike which he began on November 24, because of the trial. He also noted that Sakit feels bad, he is unconscious.
It should be noted that, Mirza Sakit was sentenced to 3 years in prison under Article 234.1 (keeping illicit narcotic drugs) of Criminal Code./APA/
