Ministry of Emergency Situations issues statement on death of Canadian citizen

Baku. Hafiz Heydarov â€“ APA. Azerbaijani Ministry of Emergency Situations issued a statement on the death of Canadian citizen. APA reports quoting the website of the MES that the ministry received a call regarding a helpless person who remained behind the close door in the flat in Nasimi district. During the evaluation of the operational situation, it became clear that the man didnâ€™t react to the calls and knocks on the door several times. Using special tools and observing safety rules, the rescuers entered the apartment, situated on the second floor of a three-storey house, through the window. During the inspection in the flat Canadian citizen, Stephen Smith, aged 25-30 years was found lying on the floor. The doctors of the Emergency Aid Service Station examined the body and said Stephen Smith died. His body was handed over by the rescuers.
