Former candidate for parliament Nadir Orujov shot to death his acquaintance Rovshan Rustamov in Huseyn Seyidzadeh street, Nasimi district on June 8, 2011. Criminal proceedings were launched on the fact on articles 120.1 (premeditated murder) and 228.1 (illegal purchase, transfer, selling, storage, transportation or carrying of fire-arms) of the Criminal Code.
Nadir Orujov was nominated from the 2nd Binagadi election constituency #9 in 2005, from the 1st Nasimi election constituency #21 in 2010. He is director general of Ziver Nadir company.
