Department Chief of the Republic Main State Traffic Police Office Kamran Aliyev told APA that the normal traffic movement on the roads in Baku city was restored: “But some roads were iced. The snowfall in Sheki-Zagatala and Ismayilli-Mughanli territories is continuing icing the roads. There are many dry parts on Baku-Astara highway. But the drivers must be careful in those territories. The sand is splashed and the roads are being cleaned from ice for restoration of traffic movementâ€.
Aliyev said that 6 traffic accidents occurred on February 2: “Two people died and 5 were injuredâ€.
