Court passes judgment on former chief of Gobustan branch of State Social Protection Fund

APA reports that the court passed judgment on Huseynov. Under the judgment, Azer Huseynov was sentenced to four-year imprisonment.

According to the indictment, Azer Huseynov was caught red-handed taking bribes. Citizen of Azerbaijan (name and surname not publicized on his request) appealed to the Ministry of National Security saying that chief of Gobustan branch of the State Social Protection Fund Azer Huseynov refused to issue plastic pension card for his sick mother, he wanted AZN 300 for the card.

As a result of the operations, Azer Huseynov was caught red-handed taking AZN 200 from the complainant in the administrative building of Gobustan branch of the State Social Protection Fund. AZN 3 420, six plastic cards were found on Azer Huseynov, 1436 plastic cards and their PIN codes were found in the account department of the branch. It was found out that Azer Huseynov had misappropriated two-month pension of the complainant.
