Two American soldiers killed in Afghanistan

Baku – APA. Two soldiers believed to be Americans were killed by an Afghan border officer Monday, APA reports quoting “All Headline News”.
NATO-led troops were teaching a group of border policemen in a meeting room in Faryab in northern Afghanistan, reports stated. Reports stated there were about six U.S. soldiers inside the meeting room when the incident occurred. The two soldiers were providing security at the meeting and were shot by the officer, who was outside the building.
The gunman fled on foot, heading towards the desert.
No other details on the incident were released.
NATO’s International Security Assistance Force did not identify the nationality of the dead.
The United States did not confirm whether the victims were indeed Americans. The Pentagon usually does not name casualties until 24 hours after next of kin have been notified of their deaths.
Afghan troops and the ISAF were investigating the shooting.
