Famous Azerbaijani judgeâ€™s daughter, principal sentenced to 9 years in prison

According to verdict of the court, Shole Gulmaliyeva was sentenced to 9 yeas in prison. She has also been disqualified from teaching for 3 years.

The investigation revealed that on the basis of documents presented by Gulmaliyeva in 2006-2099, consumption credits in the name of 922 citizens were officialized at Kapital Bankâ€™s Binagadi branch #1, the sums officialized in accordance with credit contracts were given to Gulmaliyeva by putting false signatures in the names of citizens.

When the bank demanded to return the credits, Gulmaliyeva paid those debts by leaving properties of different persons as deposit and officializing $900 000 and AZN 3 mln 230 000 mortgage loan.

Moreover, it was determined that Gulmaliyeva left properties of different persons as deposit and took a great sum of credits, as well as she obtained a large sum of money by swindling different citizens.

The charged personâ€™s father Adil Seyidov is one of the famous judges in Azerbaijan. In 70s, he worked as chairman of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republicâ€™s Supreme Court, Jalilabad Region Court, thereafter as judge at Barda and Khachmaz city Courts.
