Human Rights Commissioner: â€œNumerous appeals addressed to the Central Archive of the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan have not been repliedâ€

The report reads that the inquiring sent to the ministry for investigation of those appeals were also delayed in replying or were not correctly replied. â€œDespite that as a result of investigation, different problems of some servicemen were resolvedâ€, said the Commissioner.

The military servicemen, their families, relatives sent different appeals to the Human Rights Commissioner asking to help to resolve housing, pension problems, as well as non-fulfillment of court decisions, non-demobilization of the servicemen whose term of service expired, not replying the addresses to the military administration organizations, bureaucracy, problems with giving the military identity cards and status of veteran of war, non-objective examination of qualification for the military service.

The Human Rights Commissioner proposed to take serious measures for raising the influence of the army among the civil society, strengthening of the status of military servicemen, as well as ending the out-of-chapter actions.
