Azerbaijani Ambassador Fuad Ismayilovâ€™s funeral held in Tazapir Mosque â€“ <font color=red> PHOTOSESSION </font>

According to APA, relatives, representatives of the diplomatic corps, government officials attended the procession. US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Matthew Bryza, Head of the OSCE Office in Baku Ali Bilge Cankorel, Head of Baku City Executive Power Hajibala Abutalibov, Deputies Minister of Foreign Affairs Khalaf Khalafov and Nadir Huseynov, Chairman of the Central Election Commission Mazahir Panahov, members of the parliament, intellectuals were among those who came for waiting a funeral. They offered condolences to Fuad Ismayilovâ€™s parents, wife and children and other relatives.

Fuad Ismayilov was born in Baku in 1968 to the family of intellectuals. He graduated from the School of Oriental Studies of the Baku State University. He began his carrier in Assa-Irada Independent News Agency. He worked in the foreign relations department of the Presidential Administration in 1992-1995, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1998-2005. He was appointed to the post of ambassador to Austria on March 7, 2005. For his useful activity, he was decorated with the jubilee medal on 90th anniversary of the diplomatic service of the Republic of Azerbaijan (1919-2009). Fuad Ismayilov played great role in the development of bilateral relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Austriaâ€. He was Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Austria, permanent representative to UN Office in Vienna, OSCE, IAEA, ambassador to Slovenia and Slovakia. Ambassador Fuad Ismayilov died in Vienna on February 23 after siege of illness at the age of 43.
