Azerbaijani Ministry of Internal Affairs holds board meeting

According to APA, Minister of Internal Affairs, Colonel-General Ramil Usubov addressed the participants and said the board meeting would focus on combating crimes, protection of public order and other issues in first six months of 2010. The minister said crime control was successfully continued and successes in this struggle achieved in previous years was secured and positive steps were made towards operational examine the complaints. “There is strong crime control in Azerbaijan today. Most of grave crimes were cleaned. The cases of robbery, brigandage and other crimes reduced. No kidnapping incidents were identifiedâ€.
Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Lieutenant-General Vilayat Eyvazov said 11 375 criminal cases were identified in first six months of this year.
