13 Chinese workers dead, 2 others missing in landslide in China-Myanmar border region

The accident happened at 4:50 p.m. Monday at a mine about 3 km from the China-Myanmar border, said a spokesman with the publicity department of the Tengchong County Committee of the Communist Party of China.
Three Chinese workers were found dead at the mine and three others later died at hospital Tuesday morning, he said.
As of 9 p.m. Tuesday, 13 bodies had been recovered, with 10 of them identified, said the spokesman.
Five injured Chinese workers were being treated at Tengchong People’s Hospital. They were in a stable condition, he said.
More than 140 rescue personnel with rescue machinery had entered Myanmar to search for the missing, he said.
