Russian President Vladimir Putin has supported Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin's proposal to carry out a government reshuffle, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said, Interfax reports.
"During the meeting, along with important issues concerning the country's socio-economic development, the Prime Minister presented his proposals for a government reshuffle to the head of state. President Putin supported these proposals," Peskov said.
Under the Russian Constitution, new candidates for government positions must also be submitted to the State Duma for approval.
