Hasanov said law-enforcement agencies were controlling the Oil Academy nearby areas to prevent any protest action. “Baku City Executive Power offered three places for the protest action, but they didn’t agree with that. We will not allow to hold an action here and to disturb the public peaceâ€.
The areas around the Oil Academy’s building and 28 May subway station are controlled by police, traffic was stopped. People are coming to the Oil Academy’s building, which was scene of terrorist attack last year, to commemorate the victims and to lay wreaths and flowers there.
