Baku. Konul Kamilqizi – APA. U.S. President Barack Obama has awarded an honorary diploma to Humbatov Togrul Namik oghlu who finished the Thornton Academy School with golden medal in Maine.
The Ministry of Education told APA that in line with the rules of the US educational system, the students who demonstrate high knowledge and capacities at schools located within the United States and who finished schools with golden medal are awarded a diploma by the country’s president.
Togrul is the first Azerbaijani who was honored with such an award. Togrul Humbatov has already been admitted to Bryant University in Boston and will continue his education there.
