APA reports that member of the Russian delegation to OSCE PA, Chairman of the State Duma's Committee on CIS affairs, Eurasian integration and relations with compatriots Leonid Slutsky said this proposal is aiming to eradicate anti-Russian efforts in the international arena.
The Ukrainian delegation, however, objected to the amendment. Member of the Ukrainian delegation Oleg Zarubinsky said the question is not only about Russia. In general, it’s rational to hold discussions and impose sanctions on countries that violate the principles in the international arena. He said it is hard to think otherwise.
The amendment was put to the vote. All members of the Committee on Political Affairs and Security, Excluding 7 parliamentarians, voted against the amendment.
