Baku. Mubariz Aslanov – APA. “NATO will continue its efforts on the Nagorno Karabakh conflict”, said the President of NATO Parliamentary Assembly Hugh Bayley at the 86th NATO PA Rose Roth seminar on “South Caucasus: Challenges and opportunities” in Baku. He noted that NATO aims to achieve mutual understanding between the sides: “It is needed to know unambiguously that settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict through war is impossible. This problem should be solved through compromise”.
According to Bayley through NATO does not participate in this process, it will continue its efforts in order to achieve mutual understanding: “We think that there should be confidence between the sides”.
