Today, as a chairman of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has responded to the pro-Armenian member of the French lower house Francois Rochebloine’s that the head of the French delegation to the PACE René Rouquet has not respected Azerbaijan’s laws on its borders.
APA’s European correspondent reports that E. Mammadyarov said he will answer this question as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan and noted that the PACE member also should act within the law and respect the laws of member-states.
“Mr. Rouquet has not respected our laws on the status of borders. Azerbaijan is not only country that adopts these laws and such practice is applied in other countries too”.
