Baku. Rufat Ahmadzada – APA. The use of the phrase “neutral territory” in the 19 November statement by the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs is unacceptable, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman Hikmet Hajiyev told APA. He pointed out that the Armenian Armed Forces’ helicopter was destroyed in the territory of Azerbaijan’s Aghdam region which was occupied by Armenia.

Hajiyev noted that the resolution 853 of the UN Security Council strongly condemns the occupation of Aghdam region of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

“The resolution once again expresses support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan and demands the immediate, unconditional and complete withdrawal of occupying forces from the occupied territories of Azerbaijan. The document considers inadmissible the attempts to change the internationally recognized borders by use force,” he added.
